Based on this, as well as personal experience, we have compiled the top games for teenage girls on PC. But we decided not to focus on too casual genres, and talk about projects that are happy to play the representatives of both sexes, and thus find common interests. If you are a parent and are looking for a way to entice your children into the world of virtual entertainment, here are the games that are likely to be worth your attention.
The Sims Series
The first place of our selection was obvious: probably no game is more suitable for girls than The Sims. Here you can realize your creative potential, building houses and creating perfect sims, as well as watching the characters’ lives and controlling them, trying to make them happy. Life is Strange
The dramatic teenage story of two young girls bonded by more than just friendship managed to become one of the most fascinating adventures a few years ago. Throughout the five episodes of the game there will be a lot of interesting events, the main characters will repeatedly face the need to make a choice affecting the story and will eventually come to one of several endings. The story is quite complete, but the success of the game allowed the developers to release a prequel that complements the plot of the original, and a second season with new characters.
Tomb Raider
Lara Croft is a character who needs no introduction. She is a real example of a strong independent woman, as well as an eternal object of controversy among feminists. And from a hundred-meter cliff in the water is not afraid to dive, and from a wild animal skin to shake a cloth, and with the Russian thugs invaded the island alone to fight it is not a problem, while all her male friends prefer to sit out in a quiet secluded place. OatBF is a beautiful platformer-metroidvania, which is sure to conquer from the first frames with its graphic design and musical accompaniment. The magical forest is in danger and the little creature Ori has to fight against evil and return nature to its original state. The little beast can run, jump, attack enemies and level up, unlocking unusual abilities that help her get into previously inaccessible areas of the forest. Be warned at once – games that can be played with one hand while watching the series, and platformer Ori and the Blind Forest, are in different weight categories. Let us not confuse you cartoon graphics and fairy-tale atmosphere. This game even a calm girl or a guy can bring to white heat, because some sections of the platforming require lightning-fast reaction time, and the slightest mistake will be punished by sending you to the previous save point. Adventure Time
The game is based on the animated series of the same name about the adventures of Finn and the magic dog Jake with extremely unusual abilities, who travel through a world that is definitely not normal even for a post-apocalyptic fairy tale universe. The story at first glance is very childish and suitable only for girls and young boys, but the animated series and game projects based on it have gained recognition among adult audiences. They have many references to popular culture and serious issues that children simply would not understand because of their young age.
Many projects in the Adventure Time universe have been released in many different genres, and the latest game to date is Adventure Time: Pirates of Enchiridion. The game was made in the action-adventure genre, where there are equally present battles with enemies, search for a variety of secrets on the levels and other types of activities. In addition, fans of the series will be pleased to meet familiar characters – not only the main couple, but also the secondary characters.
Haven
A game for girls, guys who are no strangers to romance, or couples united by a common interest in computer entertainment. The story of this role-playing adventure revolves around Yu and Kei, who didn’t want to live in a world where their future partner is determined without their own wishes, and fled to an uncharted planet called The Source. Now they will have to explore the world, traveling through open spaces holding hands and gliding with gravity boots, searching for and crafting resources, fighting with local aggressive beasts. In general, you certainly won’t get bored in Haven.
Haven can even be called one of the most original games of 2020, because there are interesting gameplay mechanics, related to the interaction between the characters. Essentially, Yu and Kei are one and the same – sharing one health bar for two and in combat conducting joint combo attacks by pressing buttons at the same time. And in peacetime, the couple cultivates the garden, hugs and kisses (which, by the way, helps to restore health), and chats a lot about everything and nothing.
